Does anyone know what you connect on the back from the cd-i player "remote in" on the cd-i 205/5?
can't find anything about it.

This is for an RC5 remote control receiver. You'll find clues about it in some user manuals (e.g. EM2200BK in the CDI200 user manual) and on ICDIA (22EM2200 http://icdia.co.uk/accesories/misc.html).

Now you say that I do remember it, but I never gave much attention to this accessory.
Would be cool to see a real one in color!

I searched the internet for the EM2200BK but none are for sale anywhere.
I keep looking for such a to this, if I ever find it I will upload a video, seems very nice!

If you can't find it then maybe you want to build your own?
