In this article, I explain how to use a DFO (dual frequency oscillator) for easy PAL/NTSC switching.
Especially for CD-i players that don't feature an RGB output, this is the only way to switch between 50 and 60 Hz. It will work on all Mono III, Mono IV and Roboco -based CD-i players.

This modification is still in the experimental stage, as I had run into some problems with the DFO. The video output, however, is nice and stable.
