Great, thank you for keeping up updated.
I am going to update the Hardware Development Section.
New update; in addition to the CD-i controller library I've made a new GitHub repository for code that's ready-to-use on a USB-to-CD-i setup as I've described before.
In summary:
- Arduino CD-i controller library: https://github.com/TwBurn/cdi-controller-library
- Build your own USB2CDi: https://github.com/TwBurn/cdi-controller-library/wiki
- USB2CDi code: https://github.com/TwBurn/usb2cdi
Finally I've attached a picture of a (semi-)final version of what it looks like now. The only thing I might experiment with is see if I can get it powered from the CD-i as well, bit it's kinda on the high-end. With the hub and two MagicNS sticks I'm reading 160-220 mA, and according to the specs you can do 200mA max (though only 50 is guaranteed) - so currently I use the Micro USB cable for power, which is OK for my situation at least.
@omegalfa If it's not too much trouble and you can find some time, maybe you can update the hardware section for it, it currently lists the readme of an old version of the library. I'd be happy to help to combine everything into a coherent article.
Updated!
Thanks, looks wonderful!
