A new section CD-i Technical Documentation has been added to the ICDIA website (www.icdia.co.uk) with technical documentation for various professional and authoring player models.
• CD-I Instruction Manual
Philips Interactive Media Systems - September, 1988
This instruction manual describes an early CD-I sample production system, the predecessor of what would later become the CDI 180/181/182 authoring player.
The document contains chapters on the system as a whole, its three comprising units CD-I player, multi media controller and expansion module, as well as the mouse, graphic control and memory card peripherals. Specifications of communication ports, input devices and extensions are included.
• Technical Documentation for CDI 605 Users
Philips Interactive Media Systems - June 22, 1992
This is the technical documentation for the 6XX series of CD-I professional players from Philips. This documentation is especially made for CD-I 605 users to be able to support business development.
Information about the startup of the system, such as the Configuration Status Descriptor and the SYSGO process, are available here. Specifications of communication ports, input devices and extensions are also added.
• Technical Documentation for CDI 605T Users, System Software Release 1.3

Added the following new document to the CD-i Technical Documentation section; also added thumbnails for all documents in this section.
• CDI 660 / CDI 670 Technical documentation
Philips Interactive Media Systems - 1998
This is the technical documentation for the CDI660 and CDI670 serie of CD-i players. This documentation is especially made to be able to support development of sophisticated CD-i applications.
As this documentation describes different player models, some interfaces and related funtion descriptions are not available on alle models.

Note that the ICDIA section Philips Media brochures contains product brochures for the authoring and professional players that also include technical details such as I/O port pinouts.

ICDIA Scanning super update:
- Added CDI 180 / 181 / 182 Installation and Operation manuals and the CDI 18x Autostart Function leaflet to the CD-i Technical Documentation section.
- Added new Philips CD-i authoring products subsection to the Philips Media Brochures section with overviews and price lists for Authoring and CD Bridge system products.
- Added new Authoring Book(lets) section with general books and booklets about CD-i authoring, for now with just The Producers Handbook for multimedia authoring on CD-i.

• Added several Full Motion Video (FMV) and Video-CD booklets to Authoring Book(lets) section.
• Added Video-CD on CD-i release 3.11 document and Video-CD on CD-i sample disc inlay to the Technical Documentation / Software section, also added thumbnails.

February 6, 2021 ICDIA update:
- Added service manuals for Philips FW380i and Sony IVO-V11 and IVO-N7 players to the CD-i Service Manuals section.
- Added operation manual for Sony IVO-V11 (also suitable for IVO-N7) to CD-i Player Manuals section.
- Corrected CDM mechanism for FW380i in the Comparison table of all Philips and Philips-build consumer CD-i players.

Philips Consumer Electronics Company - 1992
This is a training manual for technicians needing to repair a Philips CDI910 player. It contains a general introduction to CD-i and CD-i hardware and troubleshooting and describes a lot of technical details for the Philips CDI910 player and Mini-MMC board players in general.
