We all know that CDi mostly died off after 95/96, though of course continued in professional markets until at least 2009. In one market, Japan, the common wisdom was that CDi came and went fairly quickly. As it turns out, that wasn't the case at all. Not only did it actually last until at least 1999, the mysterious Japanese karaoke CDis hold the record for the longest continuous series of CDi titles! From 1992 through 1999 quite a few were released each year! Look at the dates on the earliest disc:

Have any doubts about there having been continuous support? Look through the discs, and notice some for every year. Notably, for 1997, we even have My Heart Will Go On, and the disc goes so far as to mention the Titanic movie!

...so in short, this was at least a 7 years long ongoing CDi series!
