Next CDi Live Stream - Friday 4/26
Hey everybody! I was going to stream some Mega Man on Friday but I've been inspired and I'll be streaming Hotel Mario instead. Never beaten this game. When I started playing my system's time keeper chip was dead and this is a pretty big game. Each time I had to start over again from square one.
But... with the info on the old World of CDi site I was able to get my system modded and the time keeper chip replaced so I can save again. I streamed maybe half the game last time. Friday will be a chance to try and beat it for the first time.
It would be awesome if some vet CDi players could swing by and say hi!

Apologies for everyone that was in the stream at 10PM EST (NYC time). I was experiencing some hardware issues and my PC did not recognize my capture card so the game play was frozen and then the stream crashed. I was able to get the stream going but not until 10:55PM. I set this one up as a AMA style in the "Just Chatting" section of Twitch to see if new people would be curious and come in. A few new people did and asked some questions on the system.
We discussed some comparisons for the CDI and the Playstation and talked about different games like Steel Machine and Mutant Body Slam that are not as well known to non-players of the system. Overall it was a good stream.
I think a lot of the people from this community are across the Atlantic from me. What times would be best for you to view a stream? Time zones may be a problem for scheduling.
Problems happen, it's normal, no worries.
In fact, a lot of people are from Europe. That means the Live Streaming will start by 04:00 am for Lisbon & London, and by 05:00 am for Paris & Amsterdam.
It's something we could discuss to find a better timing. But I also understand you are a father and it is no easy for you to find an appropriate moment. We will solve this!

Twitch will keep it archived for a couple weeks. I'm going to make some shorter videos out of the stream for Youtube to make them more friendly for people that come across the videos. Three hour streams are a bit intimidating when you come across them on YouTube.

Problems happens all the time, delays and other annoying things... It's normal, we have to deal with it and find a solution and another way to solve problems.
Your gameplay is really coo and the video resolution quality is even better!

I just posted this on Twitter for #CDiDay a little early. The next video will be a little more complicated. I'm going to try and add in some commentary after the fact and showcase my boss battle with Ludwig.
