Console Purist Chronicles comes to an end

After 33 chronicles wrote, the deal between Console Purist and The World of CD-i comes to an end.
It should continue until the end of 2020 but new event changed everything. I have been hired by a retro printed magazine to write about CD-i and with what they need, I will not have time to keep both projects at the same time.
I want to thank you Stacy Burn for the opportunity of spreading the CD-i in his group.
This partnership may return in the future, but for now, it really have to stop.
I will not stop writing reviews, but it will not happen every week.
More news about the upcoming magazine in a few days.
I am sure you will love what is coming…!

New Lockdowns all over the world

In this time of Corona Virus and new upcoming lockdowns, we (The World of CD-i Team) want to let you know that we are with you, to bring you new content so you can stay entertained by your most loved CD-i player.

We care about your health as with your family. We are in a very strange time we will never forget as our children too.

Please respect your country rules (even if they are difficult) and avoid at the maximum being in the streets. Keep the distance between you and the others, use your mask and wash your hands frequently. Avoid at the maximum being in contact with older people to keep them out of danger.

STAY SAFE, together we will defeat COVID-19 and get our life back!

A new section has opened last week. Some of you found it others not…  😉
The Downloads section, placed on the Top Menu, have and will be filled with all kind of downloads already available on the site, but now they are all in an single place.
We will not inform each time a new file is available, it is up to you to visit this section and check it!
For now you can find the CD-i titles Backup Guide (English & French), The Crayon Factory – Painting Book and the CDM 12.1 – Service Manual.

More and more people are having issues with there CD-i player, especially with non disc recognition…
I found and helped (with other people trying to help) many of you on Facebook groups, Twitter, e-mail and other social media places.

I tried in this article to help you with the more information as possible and with the different ways of solving it.
