Huge Collection Pictures!

Our website member RetroMan sent to us a massive contribution with pictures of part of his collection.
Those pictures has been sent in August, but with all the contributions and pages underwork on this site, we are only now able to show it to the world!
We are mostly talking about hardware pictures. We will show you them under several posts as the collection is quite huge!
He also owns more than 1000 CD-i titles… Damn you…  😎

Marlboro – Follow Your Dreams Review


Here is something we really don’t use to see a lot, Marlboro – Follow Your Dreams.
This is a free promotional disc from Philip Morris, the owner of Marlboro brand.
The objective was to promote the Marlboro Adventure Team that used in the 90’s to make sports adventures events all around the world. Motorbike, jeep and rafting was the main sports all combined into an unique competition to where the American cowboy lifestyle was also very improved. During 10 days teams from all around the world raced to be the best.

This is a German title, I will try my best!

More tests of the upcoming CD-i Emulator 0.5.3 beta 5

The World of CD-i is the official tester of the CD-i Emulator.
We have access to the upcoming 0.5.3 beta 5 version. During our tests we are talking “in-loco” with CD-i Fan (emulator creator) to fix right away any easy bugs to improve compatibilities. Most of the FMV games are now working without any issues.
BurnCycle, our CD-i Emulator tester has completed another raw of tests. For anything concerning tests, contact him at burncycle@theworldofcdi.com.

Today, CD-i Fan is meeting Dj Koelkast for an unboxing video shooting somewhere in the Netherlands. Our 2 team members are going to unbox a package sent from Greece and full of…
… You will have to wait for the video release to know exactly what is inside!

In march of this year I (Omegalfa) managed to find something lost in time and not known from CD-i customers. Only today, after many attempts to unbox it, they finally found a day. Unfortunately, I am not able to be there to be part of this very important day.

Dj Koelkast, our video professional, have prepared a studio with everything needed for testing and copying the original material.

CD-i Fan our ex-CD-i programmer brought more hardware and will explain what will be extracted from the box and try all that he can.
